About Academic Skills

Academic master’s programmes often focus exclusively on developing subject-matter expertise with little attention to helping students cultivate crucial skills that will empower them to use their knowledge effectively. We are trying to alleviate that deficiency by placing a focus on cultivating core academic skills relevant to your field of study.

The skills will be taught in a series of short courses that you complete on the Micro Seminary, SATS’s short-course platform. You will be asked to complete about 8 short courses during the span of the first year of your master’s programme. You will use them to complete the academic work required during the master’s.
